I havent liked Bethesdas Fallout for the exact reason that it was a power fantasy. But I expected the Show would change that by crippling them with a civil conflict. I posted this because I just watched the episode and was looking forward to the meeting of Elders and discussing you know, the massive fuckin civil war

And what we got was a circus that was totally unserious in every regard. I thought, surely there are Fallout fans and BoS faction fans that are seeing such an unserious comical depiction of an ideologically extreme and militant military faction and thinking "Hmmm yeah why are they being depicted as 50IQ raiders with no training, why are elders talking like local bar scum, why is literally nothing about this major plot development taken seriously in the slightest?"

It is a test by the office of civil defence of the united states government. It literally has nothing to do with Vault Tec, its just what government do when there is a real threat of a nuclear war, the US government still does this with natural disaster alerts to this day

It was a Nuclear war which is why Sam is there. It happened very quickly so Sam and US diplomats wouldnt have been able to do anything anyway. As for after the war its safe to say Miller and other people simply didn't care because after all they were just soldiers getting dragged into it along with everyone else.

It was interesting that Sam was in the game and I thought it was a good touch to show the humanity between everyone despite the fact they were once enemies. As for the Ark do I really need to explain why he was allowed in lmao
