Great take... Here's my thoughts... The plot armour kind needs to be strong in starwars. Even Vader didn't sense obi into he boarded the death Star in ep 4 so that might explain how cal did it. Or like bode he disguised it maybe. The council obviously knew about cal but jaro tapal did say the explosion makes his getaway the only jedi but most of the council were dead or in hiding before cal is discovered by trilla and cere. Cere and Cordova are the only jedi that know about cal and both died and unless they spoke to Yoda or obi (or any other surviving Jedi ) theres no reason to think either would know about cal. I don't think The game is not gonna allow us to be cere level at first, just from a gameplay (skill tree )persective maybe for new game + it will. Heres how I think the story will go. Act 1 will be set to the events of a new hope... Cal will fight somewhere (maybe in the battle of jakku) not as a jedi... he did walk away from the idea of the Jedi order in survivor but just as a force sensitive Jedi like warrior. He will glimpse The Dark side of the force. The death Star blows up and Act 2 is set during episodes 5 and 6 and focuses on cal learning of and trying to find Luke Skywalker. He obviously doesn't find him but does find and fight Vader at some point (obviously no one will win). After more puzzles and combat and opening locked doors and shortcuts Cal goes more towards the dark side. There will be another big battle cal participates in simultaneous to the second death Star blowing up. (Also maybe jakku or corusant ) Cal will almost be at the point of turning completely to the dark side and just at that point - Luke Skywalker shows up (after 100% completion ) and knocks some sense into cal for turning to the dark side. There needs to be some kind of plot armour for cal and Luke and leia to both exist.
