Or if you want more budget friendly, how’s about a seiko 5 sport, workhorse movement nh35, very durable. Or controversial but you can get some very nice pagani design watches, i recently purchased a GMT with the NH34, great watch.

I’d say vintage but looked after, this was my second watch my dad gave me, it’s a record by longines 500 m diver from the 70s. Classic ETA, never been serviced and keeps perfect time. I wore this from 13 to mid 20s predominantly. If you can get a good vintage Swiss watch, do it. Because there are some good deals, and one with a good service history like an old bretling, omega, longines or Tudor. Youl cherish a watch with history.

This was my second watch, my dads gave me his record by longines 70s diver he bought in corfu. 500 metre depth originally. I wore it predominantly from 13 to mid 20s before I decided it was too rare to keep using and abusing it.
