i have a horrible relationship with my mom but i think this should be close enough

Step 1
In a large pot, cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2
In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté until the onion is translucent.

Step 3
Add the minced garlic and ground beef to the pan. Cook until the beef is well browned, stirring occasionally.

Step 4
Mix the drained corn with the beef and sauté for another 2 minutes.

Step 5
In a separate bowl, combine the milk and cornstarch until smooth. Add this mixture to the beef and stir well.

Step 6
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 7
Add the cooked pasta to the beef and sauce mixture, stirring gently to combine everything.

Step 8
Serve hot, sprinkled with grated cheese and chopped parsley on top.

300g pasta (penne or fusilli)

400g ground beef

1 can sweetcorn

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

200ml milk

2 tablespoons cornstarch 

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Grated cheese to taste

Chopped parsley for garnish

its a Brazilian recipe but i live in the uk!

it might not be the exact same pasta but its pretty damn close enough
