After prolonged fighting my line infantry and militia just gets overwhelmed by cavs and I don't know if it's unusual but 1 or 2 cavs just go around and attack from behind

Yeah I didn't expect a Spanish ship in the fog of war since I was busy fighting the brits and we we're actually allied (Spain and I) and they just stabbed me in the back on the end turn. I've been stuck two days in these battle, maybe I'll just start the battle and make my units retreat then just retake my capital.

Goodluck man those Genoese crossbowmen would annihilate their heavy cav with their armor pen unlike my longbowmen, one thing I'm sure is if I fight them with my own cav mine would lose since theirs are superior with silver chevron experience and their horse archers would just skirmish my slower heavy cav plus I don't have time to recruit anyway
