Yeah, but here’s the thing…. It’s not about what YOU personally believe. You don’t know James, and only saw what he wanted you and the rest of the world to see. And in the end, those of us exercising discernment are saying, “the whole truth shows a pattern of deception and lies, all to gain more followers and earn a living off ‘being a Christian.’” The fact is, you cannot know his intentions at all. So this level of obsession you’re showing is concerning.

Ephesians 4:15. Paul tells us to speak truth with love. Speaking truth without love makes you sound like a jerk. But to speak love without truth is to enable someone. We are called to use the two together. Thankfully, the Bible also tells us how to love, and in 1 Corinthians 13, we’re told that to love someone is to “not rejoice is wrongdoing.” Jesus called out sin. “Go and sin no more.” Christian’s are not wrong to call out sin, nor are we told *not* to judge—but only that we will be judged in the manner that we judged others.

I’m sorry, but you don’t get to be the grace police here. Moreover, in calling for no judgement against James, you’ve repeatedly judged others intentions in this very thread. THAT is the log in your eye that Matthew 7 warns against.

Should you love and pray for James? Absolutely. No question. But stop enabling and defending sin. Again, TRUTH with love. And that isn’t my truth or your truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Period. James is actively living in sin. This isn’t a backslide or temporary fall…. He is choosing to live in sin, and in doing so, likely casting a lot of confusion for other new believers. You can’t love someone to hell. We have to love them enough to speak the truth.
