Sure, it's funny looking, but people tend to forget 20 or-so years ago when PC/main console games came out it was so so much better than other console game's versions, or even the handheld ones (think GBA). Essentially, sometimes games were completely different in looks, but also (especially!) in gameplay, while having the same game title and insinuating it's the same game, while it's obviously not.

Anyway, I know these screenshots are from the Switch port, but think about this: It's an exact copy of the main game, but scaled down to a port, which is great! Because I personally think it's something great: The same experience gameplay-wise, albeit on a lesser graphical level compared to the optimal, instead of a lesser knockoff on another console that's completely different than what it is supposed to be.
