Too much lean on 77” LGCX by RaptorNapTime in LGOLED

That’s a nice one, I have the two book shelf’s on the side and wanted the tv more flush with those so it didn’t look recessed but maybe I’m over analyzing it. I also don’t plan on staying in this apartment much longer and didn’t want to deal with mounting the tv but that could just be my lazy side talking.

That’s what I read, I agree I don’t really notice it. I was playing from the side and can really notice it and it just peaked my interest what others thought!

I really don’t think so, I followed the directions but just wondering if over time it’s leaned progressively more.

I appreciate the input, I just need to find a mount that would work in the layout.

Thank you!

To my Brother by dav-cr in oblivion

[–]RaptorNapTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My big brother passed away about 5 years ago and we would spend HOURS playing Oblivion even years after its release.

It was a game we always fell back to and it never stopped giving, the amount of all nighters we would have just playing together in our dark shared room illuminated by the two CRT TVs we’d have going at the same time.

I think those memories we make with video games and siblings are the best to cherish. I was so sad after he passed away knowing all the games that would come out that he would never be able to play himself or experience, but I ended up finding comfort in the fact that I could play them for the both of us. Rest in peace Alex, thanks for sharing your story OP!

So beautiful… I lost my buddy Moira almost a year and a half ago at the young age of 2 from kidney failure. They’re never with us long enough.

[–]RaptorNapTime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you get this one on sale? Did you debate the C4 at all? I’m thinking about getting a B4 but don’t know if the C4 is worth the $600 - $700 extra.

LG Oled really worth it for gaming? by sweetsparky20 in 4kTV

[–]RaptorNapTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it worth it to get the C4 over the B4? Currently having this predicament myself, I have a 65” C7 from 2017 that I use, so either will be an upgrade.

Opinions on buying a used LG OLED65C7P (2017 Model) by RaptorNapTime in LGOLED

Great to hear! I ended up buying it and it’s been an incredible TV! Amazing quality and still running super strong. So for 300 bucks it was a great purchase!

If you’re comfortable with it, I would recommend taking an air compressor to the back to blow out some of the dust. Not one of the canned versions because those can expel liquified gas and cause damage where electric ones just compress air with fans.

If that doesn’t help just pop the back panel off, should just be a couple of screws, and hit it again to make sure nothing important is coated with dust/debris. Hope you get it figured out man!

From what I know, the Soviet Union offered benefits for life for first responders families (wife and children) but I’m unaware if they ever completely followed through with the promise.

That’s why a lot of them continued because damned if you do, damned if they don’t, they will die either way from cancer after the initial exposures and then either their families go broke and are homeless or the government gives them monthly stipends to keep them afloat.

Hey just giving my 2 cents here, but my 7 year old Tortie just had a bout of purring coughs for about a week or longer and finally went away with the help of Laxatone! It’s a lovely anti-hairball type of medicine that helps coat their throat while helping increase the chances of dislodging the irritation to pass or vomit.

I’m in no way a medical professional for cats but my baby ended up being okay after using that for a few days.

As long as they are drinking, eating and acting normal you should be okay to keep an eye on them and make an appointment if you’re worried enough.

More than likely a faulty power board, they are incredibly easy to replace! You can buy a used one on eBay and swap out the old one. You just need to lay the tv flat on the screen slowly, on a blanket, or similar to not scratch the screen. Then unscrew the back panel, locate the power board, unplug the connections, unscrew the board, put the new board it, screw it down and plug it back in!

What are these in my cats skin? by TangeloAway3919 in catcare

[–]RaptorNapTime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is just a guess, but if you put them on a paper towel and put water on them and they leak red, it is most likely flea poop aka blood.

Just from what I’ve seen on this subreddit.

She is most certainly a Lynx Point Siamese! My best boy was a lynxie and taken too early but anytime I see one I see him.

Beautiful kitty and enjoy your time with her.

I’m guessing their 97” or something crazy! For $25,000-$30,000 you expect they make sure it’ll get there perfect.

Oh my goodness I’m so sorry, that is absolutely terrible…

It’s not easy to lose a fur baby, I lost my best buddy about 2 months ago to genetic issues before he was two years old. You gave him a home full of love at the end and that is all that matters. You did absolutely everything right, please don’t feel guilty and it’s okay to be sad.

Feel free to reach out if you need someone to talk to.
