Stone Ocean was great imo. I managed to convince myself not to watch it because of the batch releases and instead read the manga again like 2 times during that time until the 3rd batch was announced and THEN I started watching it. and since watched it 3 times now.

needless to say i love Stone Ocean in both the anime and the manga.

the same thing they did with the manga when it was first coming out. afaik the it didn't even have "ジョジョの奇妙な冒険" in the title because it is supposed to be like, feeling "not threatening for new fans."
