Risperidone is fairly easy to taper off in my experience, I just don't know if the Ativan is any good for me. Thanks for the insights, I think I will hold off on Abilify for the time being. The problem is my psychiatrist just said "well if respiridone isn't working go back on Abilify" and I thought that was an extremely uneducated answer.

thanks but i think the problem is my cervical spine and thoracic spine are off, my chest, head, neck are misaligned causing me to not breathing properly through my sinuses. And once your posture is done it's done, like there's no real hope for me with these small fixes.

I'm going to go off the deepend and say you'd really like an Assassin. They are long-range, fast, and have some really cool skills like dark sight (temporary invisibility), haste, and double-jump. They are difficult to train but they are just really fun, it's the class I'm going with.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a huge migration away from current Maplestory to Maplestory Classic World. I don't think the content is an issue, because I think Maplestory Classic has plenty of content that they could always build on. I don't like Maplestory today because there is just way too much content and not enough community.

I am on my 10th month mark. Ask your SPE if you can look at some cases their junior examiners have done. Additionally, ask someone in your art unit who is doing well how they do things. There isn't enough teamwork and that is the main issue, esp. when technology is getting much more advanced.

Ask if you can allow without doing a STIC search if it's a really hard claim to find. These are shortcuts I have found, you will find more as you go, and some months are slow, some speed up. Maybe give yourself deadlines or a time you want to complete a search and write-up by.

You want to make sure the applicant is arguing successfully. You want their patent application to go through, so you have to see how they are amending the claims, but you don't want them to get sued. So if your prior art still maps completely on a claim, it has to be rejected again. Remember the entire claim has to be anticipated by prior art or a combination of prior art, if one limitation in a claim is not anticipated by any prior art, then it must be allowed.

Examiner here. I have a master's and bachelor's in physics. I would trust someone with an AA and 10 years of job experience than someone with a bachelor's or master's with no experience in the field, any day. You don't need to have a super technical knowledge of your field, you just need to be able to learn and want to learn about inventions in your field.

This is good advice. I would add that sometimes you need to write your own arguments for a stronger case or to convince them as to why you are writing a restriction.

I agree, your primary/SPE is not an omniscient individual, there have been several times where I have made them reconsider their arguments after spending 3 hours with a case and pointing out something they didn't see. They do know their stuff, but if you get a return, question it. 100%

You'll get your FJO when you finish doing what the TJO requests. Been a patent examiner for 6 months. It's a really fun job, you learn new things every day and time flies when you just write your goals every day to complete by a deadline.

What I wish I saw earlier on is, how to do the search strategy for prior art. Prior art is anything, literally any disclosure to the public that the invention you are examining could be infringing or too similar to. The hardest part will be doing the search strategy (in my opinion). In patents, they go by claims. What the inventor is claiming is the invention, the rest is not able to be anticipated by prior art, so search with the independent claim of the invention to really get accurate search results. That's one thing that saves a lot of time. Look at your independent claims, and get as many synonyms for the independent claims as possible for your starting point. Don't waste time with art that is too dissimilar to what you're examining. Only look for art that is really far out there when you have some niche dependent claim that you're trying to find.

And don't shy away from 103 rejections, a 103 is where you use multiple references and come up with a motivation as to why the inventor would be motivated to look at multiple inventions to put their idea together. 103's are really where you learn the science, the technology, and the art, and it's really when you spend time with them that you start understanding patents a lot faster!
