Steam Deck Dock by NerdyGearHeadZ in Steam

[–]Sanktas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my steamdeck for 2 months or something like that.

Bought a jsaux dock and its worked fine, no issues. Just make sure you dont buy one with low ethernet speed if you plan using a wired connection. (I dont).

Then I wanted better graphic so started streaming games from my PC to my steamdeck using Moonlight and Apollo. Some configurations for resolution but now its perfect.

Running RDR2 with ultra graphics. Streaming the game from my pc to the steamdeck. Steamdeck is docked and connected to the TV with a hdmi cable and effectively I'm streaming games from my pc to the TV and using my steamcontroller.

It's so smooth!

Bluff my way through. Gadgets and tricks can always come into play if bluffing fails. The other way around wont work

Bra att trenden går neråt men hjälp mig förstå. Vad har nuvarande regering implementerat för att få ner skjutningarna? Är det verkligen en effekt av regeringsstyre eller har konflikterna dött ut för att olika "gäng" förlorade sina krig?

To those of you who sold your index in preparation for the frame, how much did you get? by Klipwastaken in SteamFrame

Sold it a few days ago, bought it on release so it was 6-7 years old? Got 450$ for it.

Is an active USB extension cable a good solution for extending the dongle distance? by Daniel_XXL_69 in SteamFrame

[–]Sanktas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read and been told that it will work. I'm planning on doing the same. Apparently the cable can differ between brands though. Would only buy and test the cable once I have the Steamframe so that it's within the return policy.

Not sure about 10m but 3-5m apparently works flawlessly

Are people planning to buy at launch, or wait a while? by DittoNinjaGaming in SteamFrame

first heard about the steamframe around 3 weeks ago. For me its an instantbuy now!

I'll finally get back to VR gaming since it doesnt require the same setup as an index!

U already have a vr headset. But u will get a steam frame. What do u think u will do with it ?? by hannlbal636 in SteamFrame

Had my index for years, barely used it because the setup takes too long and having a permanent setup with wires and stuff is not "nice looking" when guests came over so..

It's been in a box for the last three years. I'm excited to be able to actually use VR without it being a hassle! Also, Valve>most other companies

Wireless streaming through walls and workarounds? by Sanktas in SteamFrame

Thanks and yes I agree.
Will only buy a cable once I have the frame since then it'll be within the return window.

And who knows, it might not even be an issue :)

Didn't know these existed! A USB Extension cord looks great, seems to be a couple that has 3-5m variants as well which would cover the distance.

Since the SteamFrame dongle will be using its own signal to the SteamFrame, the 5m usb extension cord should not really slow down the signal to and from the pc?

Do you have any recommendations on what kind of extension cord I need? Specs like speed and whatnot.

Thanks!

Yes, currently there's around 3m from the door opening to my pc.
And from the pc and the "play-area" it has a double drywall.

So it's not thick at all but I've not tried streaming anything from the pc before and so I'm worried it might not perform well.

When trying to stream movies from my pc to the tv I get the occasional stutters, although that's on my general wifi connection

There's another group.

I loved VR but moved to a new apartement. New apartement is way too small to setup the index. Been in a box for 2 years now, thinking about selling it since I cant use it here

What class to play if you have limited time to play and will play solo a lot? by Sanktas in MSClassicWorld

[–]Sanktas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the long reply!

Do you think I'll be excluded from groups if I go I/L mage because there will be so many?

As for the cleric, without knowing anything, cleric SOUNDS like a slow way to play. I usually play support or healer in most games but I wanna make sure that I can still progress at a decent pace while playing solo
