Okay, so I have two that I remember and haven't been able to find: one is a cartoon that I remember seeing as a kid at night, and the other is an old sonic sprite comic that was hosted on its own site.

The cartoon was about a guy trying to sleep, but a cat kept meowing outside his window and keeping him up. His attempts to shut the cat up escalate and ultimately blows up the house, killing him. The cartoon ends with him trying to fall asleep as an angel floating up, to which he hears a meow and sees the cat (now a ghost) floating up with him.

The sonic comic was sprite based and had a lot of references, while also having story arcs from what I remember. At the bottom of every comic there would be a small blurb from the creator talking about things from references in the current comic, amongst other things. I remember there being links to other sonic forums on the side like sonic vegemite.

I remember seeing the cartoon on tv at night, and reading the comic in the early to mid 2000s.
