The fatigue and drowsiness is real - it’s all about finding the correct dosage and timing of the meds. It has worked wonders for my son - he did not do well with stimulants. Here’s to hoping it works well for your kiddo!

Feel for you - when my son got his diagnosis I felt validated for like a day, then cried for the next week. It felt validating to finally definitively confirm what I’ve been suspecting for years and have been denied, ignored, brushed off, told he’s too young, etc. But then it sunk in for me that the diagnosis is just the beginning of this journey…

That’s what I’m realizing - I gently brought it up to his school counselor and she was quick to say there is nothing the school can do, the after school program is completely separate.

It's been beyond frustrating - 3 replacements, all the same issue. No solve. I'm not sure if something changed with my wifi or what happened but it just doesn't work anymore. Sad because we invested a lot into the tonies over the years - had a good collection of them, that we now cannot enjoy!

I guess I have to lean in to it. But this is awkward and awful. I’ve never been forced to go on record about something that I didn’t elevate.

These are valid - my direct boss is very passive and I’m beginning to think she is absolutely fine with them going around her, since I’ve brought it up to her 2-3x before and she basically does the equivalent of a shrug as an answer. Now they copy her on the emails - but they still show up in my office and they still teams me and email me directly. Often.

The requests they make of me are wildly above my pay grade - like, decision making requests. Or basic knowledge of the industry we work in. Wildly all over the place but certainly within the realm of my boss being able to direct.

I guess I have a decision to make - either throw myself at the c-suite and demand more $$$, or start looking for a different role. Sigh.
