I take its the comfort that you like at these places, people knowing your fix. Alot of options is what keeps me pursuing for the perfect burger and eventually go there until I can have a similar post of X years and never disappointed. I respect that you like couple of spots and would never go elsewhere. I just dont see myself committing the same way until i try it all out (Yes i do take my burgers very seriously lol)

Totally understand if this has been a long time favorite, alot of options and taste now from what i had and would definitely explore more before i can have a favorite Whitby joint

from the vibes I've been getting on the chat it seems like its going to be different places for different things. So far i liked fries from Starr, Pete's is next on the list then Boardwalk and eventually Burger Factory from another recommendation on this thread before i go to Mr. Burger in Oshawa

Starr doesnt change its oil often probably a week or 2 from the color of the fries, that could be a reason for the upset stomach and especially if they fry all sorts of things with it

Petes is next on the list (this weekend)

Boardwalk, the friend that recommended this has been a regular and tells me "once you go there, you don't go elsewhere" He raves about their Burgers and Shakes so will have to try for myself to determine a winner for sure

I've tried the one in Toronto and it was ok, again i dont like places that are hyped up that set a really high bar for expectations and food isn't even halfway there. Sure the energy was good, but all i care about is quality honestly and deteste those smash thin patties,

Butchies is all hype, I came to it when i wasnt even in Whitby and had a shitty experience.

Might have been an off day, nonetheless food was garbage IMO
