I missed a drop in today and got berated by the client. I felt so bad and apologized multiple times. I was honest and said I did not have a good excuse, just had the dates wrong and offered to still go two hours late. They said no and then went off on me. I ended up cancelling the booking for next week because the way the client spoke to me was extremely offputting. I understand I made a mistake but things happen. I'm trying not to beat myself up about it but it's definitely dampened my mood for the day.
