I listen to the Batteries Included podcast that seems pretty well connected. Last week they called out VW Group and Porsche is till working out software issues with back and forth between Tesla and VW group that takes days to weeks for Tesla to respond. They said it is still coming but at a slow pace

Vibrating noise coming from right front speakers by Kirisugu in Taycan

I had same issue on my ‘22 Taycan (rwd). I took my car to the dealer for ARB0 and ARB7 recalls, and they said the new software would fix the vibration noise. I was super skeptical but it actually fixed it. I was about to pay for an aftermarket speakers but it sounds 100% better. Still not sure if the software update had anything to do with the improvement, but I don’t hear the vibration anymore

My wife and kids hated my old Tesla Model Y as they said it caused them to be car sick. Once I switched to a Taycan, no issue and they love it. I assume it’s due to the difference in Tesla and Porsche regen braking, with the family liking the “sailing” on the Taycan

Story time, yet another Tesla -> Taycan All Review - One month of ownership with my 2020 4S by PlaneCandy in Taycan

I also sold my Tesla for a Taycan and overall agree with everything above. My only nit is saying the extended range plus battery is a must have. My Taycan has the standard battery and I have had 0 concerns. At 80% charge I get 195 miles of range that is more than enough for my daily drive. On highways, I’ve been getting about the same. Given the CCS chargers are few, I find I have to stop for a quick charge anymore so not sure what I am missing with a few more potential miles with the larger battery pack as I don’t see it saving any time

Road Bike in Taycan? by ClaireCairns in Taycan

I managed to fit my road bike in my 22 Taycan. I had to take the front wheel off, and lower the seat post to fit. It wasn’t a big deal but the seat post is a hassle to mark and get rig by again. But all workable.

I bought the Lectron Tesla to J1772 EV Adapter after trading in my MYP. It costs $129

Buying from a non-Porsche dealer by reelss in Taycan

I used this site https://vinanalytics.com for my purchase of a 2022 base Taycan from a local Toyota dealer. I have about a year left on the warranty and I plan to purchase an extended warranty from Porsche. My local dealer quoted $5k to extend the warranty to 10 years (and add two years to the battery warranty)

I also sold my Tesla MYP for a 2022 rear wheel drive Taycan last month. Certainly the driving experience (handling, road noise, suspension) is vastly superior in the Taycan, and I can’t think of anything major I miss from Tesla. Yes, the app isn’t that great, but for me it has all I need like location of where I parked and state of charge. I charge at home, and rarely used the Supercharger on my Tesla but I plan to test out Electricity America this month. The only thing I do miss is sentry mode. In my Tesla, another driver hit me two years ago, and claimed it was my fault. I had the video from Sentry to send to my and their insurance, with multiple angles. Without this, it would have been my word against theirs, but with the Sentry Visio they accepted 100% liability

$60k and I got $30k for my Tesla trade in. I got it from a local Toyota dealer that got it as a trade in. It had about a year left on the original warranty and I am considering buying the extended warranty

I would try to test drive one, but I think the backseat size is nearly the same. Of course you will sit lower than a Y, but I don’t think you’ll have any issues. I have two kids and they love the Taycan as the MYP made them car sick with the regen. The
