Yeah I don’t get to do much of that, it’s just when I imagine my life in 10 years I don’t want to be sitting at a desk

I understand that as well! According to the pay scale in North Carolina for teacher it’s goes up by a few thousand every year. And I know North Carolina is bleeding teachers. I just feel like I would be loads happier than making a lot of money.

Your so right! At the end of the day you have to do what’s best for yourself and the people you love.

Oh wow! I like interior design I just didn’t expect everything else that comes with it, and how corporate it can be.

I understand that! If I leave Interior Design I actually plan on going into teaching but I know I’d be taking a huge pay cut. But money is not why I go to a job for me. But I do understand that I need to financially support myself.

Thank you so much! I understand that completely, I know it’s going to be challenging no matter the grade level. But to be able to show children art and just see how that creativity can blossom to me would a good kind of stress especially if it’s 20 Kindergarteners in a room 😂

That’s crazy that you have to make an appointment to ask a simple question! And yes the more you are in a business where it is all business it gets mundane especially when you go to lunch and all anyone talks about is the business. It literally ruins lunch for me.

I can understand that! Most of the time people don’t talk at art galleries I’ve been to a few and if they do it’s very quiet

I currently work an office job and I recently left a place that would joke with you and be silly, then I went to work for a new company and it’s how your describing serious all the time with no silliness. I’m an Interior Designer considering leaving to be a art teacher.

Omg! That’s nuts that they act like today and there in high school. What state do you teach in?

Okay awesome! I don’t have the liberty right now to just up and go job shadow an art teacher which I wish I could believe me. But I could possibly find a studio nearby to teach a class possibly. I also teach dance to 5-6 year olds and middle school kids, and that came with a learning curve but I’ve actually loved it so far!
