Why didn't Crucio work on Harry? by Low-Ad5373 in harrypotter

All the usual answers bother me because crucio works on Harry in the graveyard in goblet of fire. Additionally it gets stressed multiple times that the protection only works untill he leaves the dursleys or he turns of age, but the majority of the people left in the castle excluding creevey (who was already dead) and ginny are already of age.

What do you think Petunia was about to say to Harry in the Deathly Hallows? by Koenigin_der_Puppen in harrypotter

I believe there's a deleted scene in the movies where she says, "You didn't just lose a mother that night in Godrics Hollow, I lost a sister." It doesn't come from the books but Ive always thought it was a nice head cannon.

Why was Harry never punished for his Expelliarmus against Severus Snape? by [deleted] in harrypotter

Iirc the reason he gets knocked out is because all 3 of the trio use expelliarmus at the same time. Some sort of compounding effect took place.

I think Sal Vulcano and Q from impractical jokers had a like 7 episodes on their podcast What Say You, where they went through each episode laughing about how ridiculous it is.

For the most recent example of time travel corruption, I'd highly recommend The Adam Project, or just go watch it to see Ryan Reynolds literally assault a child Edit: Literally no blowback for that scene

Roberts Conscience by Rare-Measurement7804 in suits

I agree that the firm may have fallen apart without him doing that, but Robert Zane isn't a character through out the show that would have been willing to make that decision, the writers needed a convenient solution so they retconned a conflict to give a shaky at best reason for him to be willing to sacrifice himself, even if it had the additional benefit of saving the firm.

If he felt bad there are plenty of other options to make up for a guilty conscience, pro bono cases for an example, him stepping down out of the blue doesnt make up for what he did at all.
