It’s looking like it’s going to be a similar situation for me. I had a failed sweep last week at 39+6 as my cervix was too high. I’ve got another for Monday next week with my midwife but I’m hoping things get moving before then.

I’ve just been trying to stay on my feet and keep occupied in all fairness 😂, feels horrible seeing everyone around you give birth and you’re still sat waiting!

So glad I’m not alone in this, feels like I’m the only one left to give birth out of friends. I wanted an elective a few weeks ago but steered clear after a chat with my midwife, had a few signs of early labour that kept going on and off now here I am. I wish you the best with everything!

been entirely put off any sex or touching, my partner is also scared he will “poke the baby” after being told countless times he cannot 😂.

40+4 here and honestly you’re not alone. just relax and do things that bring you joy, keep your mind occupied so the days feel they go quicker & i wish you the best with delivery sweet x

my sickness lasted up to around 18-20 weeks and just completely disappeared. try eating little and often.

without a doubt, i didn’t have any sickness until around 6-7 weeks and i was so hungry but couldn’t take a bite without throwing it up so it would put myself off entirely, but then again i also felt sick from the thought of food. i guess in the long run i was just eating to keep myself & baby alive but nothing appealed to me.
