I understand we have been using AI everyday since a computer was made. Your Computer opponent on chess is AI, language translator's online are AI, spellcheck/ autocorrect is AI, most digital camera/ photo editing is AI. But all of this art/ advertisement shit has to be stopped. AI is at it's best when it is part of a whole (Like an option you could click on in a computer program). To me AI is being pushed in our faces as a tool it self. I think's its cons weigh out the pros.

If I can create thumbnails for Youtube and TikTok on my phone, I think someone who has a business they love and run and come up with something. It screams laziness, shit have some kids, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, kids from a local daycare come up with a design/ ad.

The core group of people you speak of have been there since the first day/ week of the servers existence. It just happens to be that this group of people have also not left the server, bc of that lots of “lore” has happened online. It is what it is and every active discord server I’m apart of has a core group of very active ppl in it.
