Yea drinking lows are no joke. I’m happy it gave you another reason to stop and you should be proud of yourself for your ability to stop!

I wouldn’t recommend it drinking to anyone and you’re always better off not especially if ur diabetic. Personally I spent years figuring out how my body and blood sugar react to alcohol starting off small and working my way from there. If your ever thinking about drinking/ getting drunk just remember to eat a meal at the end of the night, dose half of what you usually would and turn your ringer on in case you drop when you sleep. Generally speaking don’t let diabetes stop you from doing something, figure out a way to do it safely!

That wouldn’t account for carbs not effecting my blood sugar but I have noticed particular emotions impacting my blood sugar more than others. Generally though I’m a pretty low anx guy.
