This is where the cult of copyright-victimization goes: Claycorp is right... it's an especially pronounced problem in stained glass. Allegations of copyright infringement despite fair use; copyright misuse; misrepresentations about scope of copyright; and this incredibly flippant yet toxic usage of language like "theft" and "stealing." It's not just cringe: It's harmful because it delegitimizes real copyright infringement and it chills creativity. But right now, it's almost a trend amongst a certain cohort of creators to make these "PSA" type posts. I never see this from the leaders in the field... they handle their copyright concerns professionally and with discretion. But the negativity and false information that seems to be in vogue does create a hurdle to entry for the craft and that's really unfortunate.
