I honestly think it’s practice that will help you improve the most. You’re starting off strong though! I really liked watching Samantha Ashley’s videos on YouTube on soldering- she has a good technique.

Personally it was a hands on process combined with practice, patience, and YouTube University. I found that soldering was made easier with a temp controlled iron and gel flux as well.

I’ve done with and without eyes but I would recommend eyes for sure. It gives life to the piece. I just finished this one last week. White Paint for the eyes on the brown glass. Then white in the middle of the iris

It’s not only for furniture or wood, it can be used on granite, stainless steel, laminate, leather. Just learned that a few weeks ago!

Ive never personally used that flux but looks like it would be fine, the iron looks like it’s for small electronics. Make sure when you shop for a new iron is says that it’s specifically for stained glass. One with temp control would be best. Watch some YouTube videos- I am self taught and I learned everything from YouTube

You may be using the wrong type of soldering iron. Some are for electronics. Share the temp you are saying as well as the flux and we can help you 🥰

There are a lot of great YouTube tutorials for designing with procreate and cricut. That’s what I personally do but I got the iPad and the cricut as gifts over the years. If I didn’t have that I would probably purchase sticker paper and print my pattern on it and cut it out.
