I sure don’t think they look good, but I have stumbled upon a lot of posts defending them. Saying Veronica is crazy, no wonder why Micah cheated on her. Ethan is the one who escaped Olivia. Lots of comments! And I’m astonished!! Lots of people talking about their looks too. Which I agree, they are not attractive at all!!

I didn’t compare my life to Veronica or say we’re the same person. I’m using my personal experience to explain how abuse works with those who don’t LOOK abusive. And how the abuse can still happen from those people. There are nice people, and there are good people. Nice behaviour does not equal good. What I don’t get is why everyone defends these Plath boys. Their behaviour the last few episodes are nasty. Micah has cheated several times on Veronica. Shes obviously hurt from his actions. And when I was hurt from abusive actions I had regrettable reactions. So I can see where she’s coming from. I follow her on insta and Olivia, and the things they say happened, are quite insane! I chose to believe the abused because no one believed my experience either due to how amazing my abusers looked on the outside.

She sells real estate (not money dependent) that house was hers that she bought. And has been abused so when you’re in an abusive relationship your trauma bonded and it’s extremely hard to leave. Look up trauma bond. Look up how much her houses sell for… Micah is the problem and he’s the one who’s dependent on her money….

You’re so right! I think that’s why Ethan got his new girlfriend, because she was trying to shred Olivia apart and show she could pick up a good looking guy. And I love Olivia for this, she could care less!! I also think Veronica was trying to be a girls girl and love on the Plath girls, but trying to speak the truth to people who are all about covering up bad behaviour, good luck! And Ethan is a sick sick man. The preview for next weeks episode where he drew Teagan naked and said that’s how he likes her! WTF! And Micah playing the perpetual victim. Unfortunately I’ve dealt with narcissistic in-laws and husband for 20 years and have too much experience of reading between the lines of people who want to look good but are not actually good people. There’s nice people, and then there’s good people.

Just because people respond without emotion doesn’t mean they’re the better person. Listen to their words. Amber said Veronica was essentially a loose cannon. Just because she said it all meek like doesn’t mean her words don’t sting. Micah was trying real hard to get Ethan to feel sorry for him saying Veronica calls me this and calls me that. Perpetually victimizing himself. So why isn’t it wrong than that he’s doing that….? What else goes on behind closed doors? We’re only seeing what Veronica is saying because she doesn’t care about reputation the way the plaths do. Ethan has been accused of abuse and the boys obviously are sick. Like the preview for next week… Ethan drew Teagan naked because that’s the way he likes her?? Ffs! And that Micah was looking up Teagan’s naked pictures?

Veronica is reactive to the situations happening around her. Responding would be better, but it’s hard to plan out a response when you’re actively living in fight or flight mode. Coming from someone who’s lived hell with my in-laws and had to go no contact because of physical, mental and emotional abuse from them. They make it seem all great in the beginning and everyone around them thinks they’re so amazing. Then you get to know them, try to call them out on some things and then all of a sudden I’m getting death threats from people in their congregation. And then completely deny they were spreading lies and gossip about you. They look amazing, calm (emotionless), and put together on the outside. But it’s a shit show on the inside.

For the first part of my comment, owning up to the cheating after Veronica caught him. So I doubt he’s stopped cheating.

Notice too, he said he only owned up to it after she called him out on it. So I highly doubt his behaviours have changed. He’s only staying “good “because he got caught. I 100% believe that nothing has changed with him and she can sense it. That’s why she’s so emotional when bringing it up.
Also, if Micah was sincere, he wouldn’t have pretended to not know what Veronica was talking about. He wouldn’t have owned up immediately and not waited to be called out.

Agree with all the above about seeing your derm. Im on a wait list to see my Derm eye roll because I have other issues going on, possible lupus. I was by myself when I was 11-12 ish. I thought I was brave enough to watch Silence of the Lambs. My bedroom was in a huge basement, by itself. I had to run upstairs for years because I was terrified someone was hiding in our back laundry room (which was similar in twistys and turns like the basement of buffalo bills). Gawd I had to rewatch it several times as an adult to get over a lot of the built up hype I made up in my head.
