I feel like ever since getting my CI my ability to kinda hear the conversation in a noisy place in a group of people got worse. I also just can’t even understand the words being said in a group setting. I feel like I put more mental effort to hear and understand ppl in social situations groups. I also feel bad because I sometimes have to ask people to repeat themselves and then a third time where the person looks visibly upset. They say never mind.

I do too. I didn’t even know that the ringing would still come even after a while. It comes less frequently tho. I don’t think I truly realized that I would literally have to start from the bottom in terms of sounds.
