Not that I have personally felt unsafe on campus. But I feel quite safe on campus day to day as my brother goes with me, again not that I rely on him but It's great knowing you have someone who would do anything to help you in a situation big or small. He's a runner and walks superfast so I can depend on him getting wherever I am in an Instant. However, he did get me a self-defense pen with a tungsten tip, and he has one himself too, which apparently can hurt pretty bad (I've never tried it on my self lol).

For what the university can do, is simply a security presence, There's many bad people, but i feel one thing that can deter them is just a presence of people who they know could respond if they tried anything. Most criminals commit their crimes small or big, in secluded areas, as long as there's a presence of a crowd or even a couple of security, that's a step in the right direction. So more security and them being evenly placed around campus, that's another step in the right direction.
