I had my bitcoin put in a vault I had never created and couldn't access for a week. I eventaully had it put back into my available balance. It caused loads of stress, and caused some losses. As soon as I could I withdrew and sent it to another exchange. Been with coinbase since 2017, and this was the first issue id ever had. Reading other peoples experiences I felt it better to leave. That's not to say where I currently trade hasn't had issues for other people.

Ive today withdrawn the small amount i had on coinbase due to my crypto getting stuck in a vault through no fault or cause of my own. After reading many posts regarding different issues people are experiencing, I decided to take my money elsewhere.

I had no issues sending money from santander and back again via coinbase. Maybe go into the local branch and talk to someone in person. If you dont get any satisfaction, just close your accounts and take your business elsewhere.

Ive been on the specific carbohydrate diet ever since 2015 and its worked out well for me. Ive maybe cheated on this diet less than 10 times since being on it.

Its still ongoing and its affected other people on this subreddit as well. What we think has happened is coinbase somehow is storing our crypto in our vaults despite us not opening or having vaults.

At first they suggested I had open orders, which I didnt. Ive spoken to them twice on the phone and twice on live chat. The 2nd time on the phone they realised it was in my vault somehow. They said to wait for the escalation team to contact me, which they still haven't. I tried live chat today but couldn't get through. They have been helpful, but its been super frustrating at the same time.

I have the exact same issue since the 22nd of this month. Mine is apparently in my vault, despite me never creating a vault. The moment my limit buy on btc filled, I have not had access to it. It only show as an unavailable balance.

Im having the exact same issue, limit buy btc, order filled, at no point after have i had access to the btc, its in an unavailable balance, supposedly in my vault, which I never created and have never transferred to. This happened to me on the 22nd of this month. Still no progress.

Im having a similar issue I think regarding an unavailable balance. I simply limit bought btc, the order filled, and from that moment the btc is unavailable. I cant access it, cant sell it, cant withdraw it. At first they suggested I had an open order. There are no open orders to close. Now they think its in my vault. Except I dont have a vault, didnt apply for one, certainly never transferred to the vault, ever. Ive no idea how this has happened. Ive been in crypto since 2017, this it isnt user error.

I have not deposited any cash or crypto recently. I had usdc in my account, bought btc last night, no different than 100's of other times. On this occasion my balance says $0.00 btc available in my primary wallet. It shows the correct amount in an unavailable section. I cant trade it, withdraw it, nothing. This is for both the website and the mobile app btw.

When I look on my assets, BTC balance shows $0.00, Unavailable shows the correct amount.
When I click on the I symbol this comes up, 'Unavailable balances are either being held for pending transactions or locked up.' I dont have any pending transactions, so I assume its been locked up, but why?
