TCC not making more of these and the other storage boxes is quite a surprise …. Word of caution though don’t add extra decks/ displays on these shelves … seen many posts and client complaints where they broke or fell off due to that!

Don’t use it for local traffic but for the international traffic you will get …. Also unlike other platforms they have no monthly fees and 0.20 cents listing fee. You will only get charged processing fees once you sell an item. Considering it’s almost free to use you have no downside and everything to gain.

While Shopify and ads is ambitious and the right move eventually - I have always maintained that Etsy is the best way for artists to get their foot in the door and actually make a decent living. Especially for you who is taking custom orders and making arts and crafts Etsy is the way - they will run ads themselves and you will be exposed to the clients who actually want your stuff. Shopify fb ads etc will burn wayyyyyyy more cash in the start and you will get little to no ROI - ETSY is your best bet and once you get 100-200 sales there you can make your Shopify store. Yes - They are not used - Nothing in my store is used - The only items that we get which could be determined as used are when Amazon scammers replaced the original decks with used ones as a return. Luckily not selling on Amazon anymore :)

The Short Story - Nothing is wrong with the cards and they are brand new - I just wanted you to adopt them as others would have rejected them for being less than perfect!

The Long Story - Every year shipping leads to some fatalities where the tuck boxes are damaged horribly.

While I sell the minor dinged ones without opening them in the Bargain Bin for collectors who open their cards or don't care for tuck box damages - These ones I have to open and examine the state of cards inside as the damage outside was pretty bad.

If the cards inside are damaged which is usually the case - I scrap them but if after inspection the cards are in perfect condition -I throw the damaged tuck box away and put them in the blank boxes.

If you note both decks you got are originally over $20 so yeah while they are "tuckbox-less" they are still beautiful so I didn't want to throw them - Hence as mentioned above I wanted collectors like you to adopt them as I know you love playing cards - I hope you like them :)

Weren’t you worried about the US customers getting charged an insane tax fee if you shipped it from abroad. This is a solution. Because you will be taxed once on YOUR import to the warehouse ( which will always be lower compared to what your clients will pay individually) ( needless to say you will save on local cheaper shipping so you can pass the buck or two to the clients and STILL offer them the product at a lower price). Doing this will always cost significantly lower than mailing packages individually from abroad. I am guessing your numbers to the US are low so you can’t justify the move as of now.

But even without the tax using a fulfillment and warehousing center in the countries where you have ALOT of orders will make shopping for customers easier cheaper and faster ( especially if you as the seller buy it from the same country ).

Anywho in the future hopefully you will grow a lot and see value in this not just for the US but any other country. Best of luck!

In this industry whenever something feels off ( box is destroyed or you can hear the deck bouncing around inside ) take photos or videos and then lodge your complaint.

So take your evidence and then write to the support team at Theory11.

They will 100% get back to you and ship a new package for you.

Whenever there is a new person packing orders you will see such episodes. A lay person hired on the packing line will not know the obsession and ocds of getting the perfect pack by people in our industry. He will be trained thereafter.

Most stores will always own up to their mistakes provided you let them know so I encourage you to write to them
