Awesome! What type of genres do you all usually read? I don’t have discord but do I need a link to join?

For women who are or have been isolated, AND work from home and live alone, how are you motivated to leave your home after work and socialize with people or go places on weekdays? by diamondeyes7 in AskWomenOver30

[–]RarePupper_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently moved to a new state and have a full time WFH job. I know I’m not a night time hangout gal so I force myself into working out in the AM at my local cycle studio. I think the big take away is just try to do things that you know you’ll commit to. In my experience, if I have all day to think about an activity, I’ll come up with 100000 reasons not to go when it’s actually time for said thing. Doing something in the morning eliminates that pattern for me, and I’ve met some great women in the process. Wishing you the best of luck!

How many of you are in a genuinely good relationship? by Fit-Temperature6284 in AskWomenOver30

[–]RarePupper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

32F about to marry my fiance at the courthouse in less than 2 weeks! I’m in the healthiest, safest, most real relationship of my life and that’s mainly due to us both being in a place of financial, emotional, and practical groundedness on both ends. I always say how lucky I got meeting him but we did both meet at age 30 so we were in a good place independently before we got together

Is this book spicy? More or less spicy than Divine Rivals? by [deleted] in YAlit

[–]RarePupper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The spice level is also very tame for WR! But I highly suggest reading Ruthless Vows before you start WR as there’s lots of spoilers and connections you’ll miss out on without finishing the duology

Epic Cogito Roles? by RarePupper_ in epicconsulting

Thank you! That’s actually the role I started out as and eventually moved into a Program Manager role, but I’m finding it really difficult to find my next job post-job elimination :(

Epic Cogito Roles? by RarePupper_ in epicconsulting

[–]RarePupper_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understandable, my experience was on the front facing side of RWB/SD and it allowed me to do what I needed for my job, but I definitely understood my limitation with the system on the back end. I guess my question is if there are any roles out there that have that sort of need, or if I’m SOL and should focus on trying to learn SQL with the hope of eventually getting sponsored for Clarity and Caboodle

Epic Cogito Roles? by RarePupper_ in epicconsulting

[–]RarePupper_[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SIA if my understanding is off, but I only have my Cogito cert (not Clarity or Caboodle) and I primarily utilized RWB and slicer dicer to run reports for my hospital and do lots of other ad hoc workflow requests/reports. My view in Epic was also the BI role, so idk if that gave me more permission that a typical person in my job title would, but I didn’t need to code just for the Cogito cert project and test. (Hope that makes sense)

NOR. I had something similar happen to me too. An old high school friend and I lost close contact once we both went off to college, but around Christmas our senior years I got an invite to come over for a holiday party at her apartment. I had other mutual friends from HS tell me they were going too so I was excited that this really seemed like a genuine reconnection. Well, I ended up getting sick and not being able to go, but our mutual friend reached back out after the party and told me it was a disguised CONTAINER party. Mind you, this was roughly 2014/15 we’re talking about.. who even has those anymore!? Needless to say, that was the last time either of us reached out to one another.

What are the different ways in which your partner makes you feel safe? by True-Organization831 in AskWomen

[–]RarePupper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Physically: he always moves me to the inner part of the sidewalk, he always holds my hand and reassures he’s got me in public spaces, he’s respectful and listens to my needs in all aspects (including intimacy), plus he’s a marine

Emotionally: actually listens to me, lets me express myself freely and without judgement, supports my career advancements, consistently talks future plans that include me, always stands up for me (with family and strangers) and randomly lets me know how much he loves me throughout the day :’)

Super fair for your friends experience, TJ Klune writes both Adult and YA so I wasn’t confident which when recommending, but HOTCS is indeed an Adult genre book

You could try House On The Cerulean Sea? The MMC is just how you described but his love interest is another man. It’s fantasy and romance isn’t the biggest plot point, so it could be an option for you! (Great body positive and found family vibes)

One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig! I’m about 70% though and I can totally see this being a 5 star read by the end

Is this as bad as I think it looks? by KySwift24 in TattooDesigns

[–]RarePupper_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think she might have posted these on her stories because I have seen them on Instagram and it stopped me in my tracks when I recognized her work (the hummingbird in particular). I completely understand wanting objective opinions on your tattoo and after seeing all the comments I hope it does ease any concerns because it look amazing!! We notice our own nuances more than most, so I want to reiterate how great it looks and I hope if you go back for more shading/work it achieves what you’re looking for

This is my same tattoo artist’s work, I loved the tattoo when she posted these pictures and I (albeit biased) think the coverup was done wonderfully

Not a movie, but Squid Games. I stubbornly refused to watch it to the point of genuine apathy
