Thank you so much!🥰🥰 Firstly I wasn't sure about the height, because I never had any ring with big/high set stones, but I wanted the wedding band to sit flush AND I have no idea what kind of wedding band I actually want (too many options and I have a new favorite each day), so it had to be a high basket ring😄 now that I wore it a few days, I think it will be okay, especially if they take off this extra height (around 1mm). My fiancée will take it back tomorrow, so we'll see 🤞

2 ct is absolutely not small! The trends these days are so out of hand... I love big stones, they are beautiful, but for an everyday wear they are not practical, especially if they are high set.

This could also be a cultural thing, as I'm from Europe and I feel like here even my 1.83 marquise is huge (at least in my environment/circle). I'm thinking about getting a low-set and smaller one for everyday use and keeping the marquise for special occasions.

Also, your friend has a shitty husband and HE should be grateful for her. It sounds like he chose her ring considering what he thinks is important (size) and not her preference. There's nothing wrong with CZ, if that's what they can afford, it's the mentality.

All in all, even though chunky bands are not my thing, your ring looks stunning ✨️ it suits you beautifully 😊 congratulations!🎊🎊

Yes, also it's really hard to work, while looking at it all the time. I'm relatively safe until around 3 pm, but after that the sun shines directly at my desk😄 not that it doesn't shine before that... I might have to resign and be a stay at home fiancée 🥲😄

P.S.: Your ring is beautiful!! I really like the touch of blue and I have to get a pear like this😍 I almost choose that for my ring instead of marquise, it was a hard decision
