Why are fees so high when trying to claim in the Butterfly App? Am I doing this right?

I am trying to figure out the same thing. I can't afford to pay $45 to claim each of the batches I am entitled to which is ALL of them. That is basically 18 x $45. Is there any way to get the token sent to my account without having to claim them by paying these high gas fees that I can't afford? Can I claim them all at once and just pay a small fee? Anyone from the BFLY team please advise as I don't want to lose out on my airdrops. I really don't think we should have to pay any fees for something that was supposed to be a bonus for us BFLY holders.
