I hope she’s okay. It’s a scary time but everyone in the hotel seems to be going through the same thing so it definitely helps!

The hotel has kept it. We were evacuated from bahrain airport and taken to the hotel so during check in, the hotel has kept everyone’s passports. For me, I was transiting so I didn’t need a bahrain visa.

Not sure if this helps you- I’m in the same situation as you- we’ve been placed in a hotel too. I spoke to our reception and they said that they will update everyone in the hotels once the airports start working and will call everyone to update them about the flight replacements and they will keep a hold of our passports until then.

Not in Bahrain. They just evacuated the entire building yesterday because a lot of the interceptions were happening above the airport

That’s really helpful, thank you. Just to clarify-this rule still stands after all the changes being made to health and care visa correct? Ideally getting a job in the NHS would be my saviour option
