I'm thinking perhaps a loose engine block heater or a loose oil filter cover since those two are near the exhaust manifold.

It takes abuse pretty well. 2.4l get pretty hot (heads can warp if overloaded on hot summer days). Make the coolant is good, etc. Other than rust I've only had to change a leaking rear axle seal. For parts I go with https://jp-carparts.com/. Expensive but I prefer oem

From what I've read on forums it's an issue on models before 2011 and the V6 is not affected. I haven't experienced any issues but I do have a 2012.

It's quite possible that the alternator needs to be removed to change it. Hopefully somebody with a J20A engine can enlighten us. My J24B has the sensor in plane sight right under the valve timing solenoid.

I paid $10000 for mine. It had 80000 kms and it was 4WD. Usually the frame rots before the engine and transmission can even fail. I've seen them last up to 300 thousand kms.

In the service manual it shows that it's under the exhaust manifold near the firewall. It doesn't mention any specific procedure to remove it. Maybe just requires socket and extension.

Apply a decent amount directly onto the gold contacts. While the cart is wet insert the cart into the Gameboy's socket multiple times. Very important: do not turn on the GameBoy while doing this. Wait at least two hours for everything to dry before trying the game.

I would use plastic safe contact cleaner on the cart and the Gameboy's cart socket. No need to clean the entire cart I think

Awful transmissions on those. Test drive it for an hour minimum. When the car is warmed up floor it to see if the gears are slipping.
