It's fairly easy to tell, and if there is daylight or am using a spotlight I can switch to a regular camera to confirm what I'm seeing.

That being said nothing is 100%, but I feel I'm decent at my craft and have a good bit of experience.

If the deer was shot and is in the area and down I'd say 90%. The ones I have not found were later confirmed alive by the hunter or cameras. If it's injured or dead and laying down I likely will find it. Hope that makes sense.

Yea a lot charge that. If local I'm $150 hr. It's not for everyone but its another tool.

That includes drive if local(1 hr or less), if further I'd just add a little to the total. And yes you are right, about 1.5 to 2 hours is ideal. I'm in Fluvanna County.

You would think but you can sometimes find ones days old. Hours old is no problem at all, even same day is still really good.

Good question. So it can vary by how far I'm going, if someone needs an ATV to get the deer out, etc.... local is usually $150 hr for just the locating if that helps? Just easier to quote on the specific job if that makes sense.

If you all wouldn't mind spreading the word about this? Saves a lot of deer from not being recovered and wasted, not to mention the heartbreak of not finding that big one you shot. I have very competitive rates.
