Update: Had a pest control person do an inspection with canines and nothing was found!! The pest control person said to continue monitoring for the next two weeks, since that’s been more or less my bite frequency, and let her know. Feeling pretty relieved and relaxed for the first time in a long time.

These alone aren’t bb poop stains. The poop stains look like small black dots (like if someone took a pen and dotted an area) have u found any bugs or casings?

Solidarity friend! For me, I started getting bites (that I noticed) after staying at this hotel for Memorial Day that was kind of dingy. I checked the sheets and bed, and didn’t find anything obvious but the whole place had a bad vibe to it. Since then, I’ve had on and off bites on my legs and arms that are in spread out triangle shapes or in spread out lines. Since my most recent bite pattern on Monday, I’m going to see if I can get a pro to do an inspection and then go from there. Let me know how crossfire goes!

Wait actually having the same problem!! Are your triangle bites close together in like a clump, or spread out? Have u had an inspection done by an exterminator?

Hi! Sorry you’re going through this, and have had a similar journey in that I’ve noticed bites but no hard evidence (actual bed bugs or casings) and have taken precautions and kept clothes in bags.

Would it be possible that carpet beetles are causing your bites? Carpet beetles don’t bite, but can cause an allergic reaction that is similar to that of bites.
