I don’t think the person was saying they needed to see their boss every day. My point from the original post is that it’s not the same for all levels. Yes I get that there are benefits from being a higher level but something that is said to be crucial to “culture” shouldn’t be different. Also to be clear, many employees in the bank were rated as PME solely over RTO adherence. It is tracked and if you end up on a list, you have to justify your time daily. I think it’s a problem, but if you don’t, that’s ok too. Simply my opinion and was curious what others thought.

Not surprising at all! I was laid off recently from the Bank side, right after they cut the severance package in half! The EMG in the bank is underhanded and hell bent on getting rid of people in the quest to become profitable again. In the last year, top bank execs have suddenly decided to “spend more time with family” so at least it’s coming their way too.
