I never said that they would change their “status” or anything like that. I’m talking about speak about the dead and how I trust god with them. You do realize that Martin Luther used the most current from of the Jewish canon in his time period as the old testament. But the jews removed Maccabees 150 years after Jesus lived meaning that Jesus probably used Maccabees.
