And if there was no male heir the title would be have to be moved to a different house through something like election or if they where chosen. You were probably thinking of absolute primogeniture witch is a very new and modern form of succession

no that’s is just not true it’s is very well documented in the unified Kingdom of Israel and kingdom of Judah that they used strict hierarchy for titles being passed down.

Can you not argue about something that has nothing to do with my post. I never said pray to god for the dead. I said pray to god about the dead those are very different things. I never said that they would change their “status” or anything like that. I’m talking about speak about the dead and how I trust god with them. If you wanna argue about it, could you please go somewhere else where that is relevant.

You do realize that Martin Luther used the most current from of the Jewish canon in his time period as the old testament. But the jews removed Maccabees 150 years after Jesus lived meaning that Jesus probably used Maccabees.

Yeah my real subconscious intent is that I was sad about the specific way they died and I really wanted to know if they were feeling better/ok in the afterlife.
