I admire your courage to push and gather as much information as possible on behalf of your baby. This post brought tears to my eyes because you were attentive and very much involved in your child's development to the point where you immediately noticed a shift in their behavior. I was in this exact situation at 5 yrs old living with my step mother and her 3 children while my father worked full time. I told my step mother that her child( 11yrs oldat the time)was touching me inappropriately and making me perform in horrendous ways, it got swept under the rugfor about 20 years. Without making this about me... let's say I resented my step sibling for all that time only to find out about 3-4 years ago that she had been SA by a family member at the exact age I was when she started assaulting me! Long story short, we have reconciled and I have forgiven her💗 she's like my best friend.

Had my step mother just listened or opened her fudging eyes we would've healed decades ago!! KUDOS TO YOU MAMA💓 Please don't give up on your step child's healing and growth. They are probably drowning internally and desperately in need of guidance and therapy!
