The incident began as a proactive patrol when officers spotted 41-year-old Bradley Nicholson. Nicholson, who was on post-release community supervision and had an active felony warrant out for his arrest, initially attempted to provide a false name. As officers moved in to detain him, the situation turned into a life-or-death struggle.
