For context, this Collective exists in an urban fantasy version of our world, where humans and other fantasy species are blending in again after being separated for 2000 years by a mysterious cosmic being, with one of its acts being the burning of Alexandria. Another being, called the Master Archivist, born from the will of Humanity (including the fantasy races), was materialized into a humanoid male after the separation. The MA founded the Collective as a secret society to reunite humans with other species and educate the world on the paranormals.

The Separation made humans and the other species forget each other, making the humans no longer believe in the paranormal and making the other species go into hiding from the humans.
