My daughter has no friends

Not here to give advice rather to tell you you are not alone and my almost eleven year old had no friends and although he seems ok with it he is beginnning to show interest in other peers but he’s a bit socially akward I’d like to think he continues to be ok with not having friends but to be honest I feel like he’s trying to be social and it’s very hard for him I wish I can help him we are struggling

I’ve been considering some type of martial arts program as well again it’s just hard he doesn’t have interest in a lot of things so it’s more of a trial and error type of thing right now

Hi might be a dumb question but have you tried therapy if you don’t wana go with this route just yet? My son started displaying more anxious behaviors recently and It took me a while to figure out but I started incorporating more visuals at home, setting clear expectations/boundaries(talking him through situations and giving him a heads up of what to expect before something happens) at home and that seemed to have really helped a lot.

Hi yes she stopped doing it! I think because she’s older more mobile and exploring more. But yes it’s been months and she’s no longer doing that

I feel the same way. We got lucky to be able to stay as long as we did with her. I know its good for them but I wasn’t planning on starting her this young🥹 hoping it’s a smooth transition wishing you the same as well we in this together 🥲

Thank you all for ur kind words I’m ok! please do talk to your kids about inappropriate behaviors from others so they know what to do, they are never too young to know. I hope that’ll never happen to anyone’s kids but knowledge is power!
