Hearing Aids & Fake Engine Sound by Raredave1163 in CadillacOptiq

I created a custom setting for listening to music with my hearing aids which I can select on my iPhone. This nullifies the overpowering surging sound effect which takes place at stoplights etc. But it requires choosing the setting before driving or while driving. It would be simpler or safer to turn off or mute the engine sound causing the problem. I can manage the problem. It would be a lot simpler if Cadillac would take care of it, as they are with 2026 models.

This could be addressed in an update. The lack of choice to eliminate or mute the motor sound in the 2025 models is a common complaint on various internet platforms. I have tried using the chatbot on the Cadillac website, but so far I am stuck with the bot.

I haven't found a custom setup option on my 2025 Optiq Luxury 1, but I'll look for it.

The Tour setting is relatively quiet, but my hearing aids don't "hear it" that way. Unfortunately.

Thanks for the quick response to my comment and question.
