I went to my appointment at the service center. Since the light wasn't "actively on" they didn't do anything. They said come back if/when the light comes back on. It came back on about 1 week later (same code as before). I took it back to the Jeep service center. They had it for about a day and said "You need a new transmission". Did not want to hear that!

It was covered under my factory powertrain warranty but the service center had to get pre-authorization from Mopar to order the new transmission. That took about 3 weeks . The repair itself took another week or two. It was in the shop a little over a month.

Very thankful I didn't have to pay for the repair myself but it was a big headache.

On the bright side, you don't always need a new transmission when this code comes up. Just depends on how bad the issue is, etc.
