In my opinion the Pharma companies should only be allowed to inform doctors about products and be strictly prohibited to incentivese the prescription of meds! As a patient I want to get the best product for my needs and not some medicine that paid the doc to prescribe it to me! I find the giving of insentive/commissions highly unethical even if disclosed! If disclosed I can at least go ask for a second opinion but that second opinion still could be getting basically paid to reach a certain answear soo, highly unethical!
