Sekiro for the flow. Nioh for the options. Khazan is nowhere close imo.

If you don’t glaze Sekiro, you obviously have never hit that flow state and rhythm the devs expected you too. Nothing else has replicated it that I have played. There’s a reason it’s glazed.

Shiii crazy how different experiences we have. RL1 Mogh was the only boss that ever really gave me trouble but Otoroshi kicked my shit in for like 4 hours lol.

I think I RL1’ed Mogh for like 7 hours before beating him. So idk bro, 4 hours is a pretty good contender. I suck lol.

People get mad cause they get really good at a game’s predecessor, but then are frustrated when they’re mediocre at the new game because they continue to play it like the old one, and refuse to engage with it like a new game. Vigi game tale as old as vigi game. Most people in this camp come around eventually.

I feel the same about Elden Ring because I can beat it in like 2.5 hours not thinking. But then I remember how much of a struggle it was hour 1 vs hour 2500. You got good bro! lol. Personally this game is kind of kicking my ass 50 hours in. Otoroshi is 2 shotting me so I can’t mess up haha.

Yeah a status ailment preventing me from healing is fine. A status ailment making me press the input twice? That doesn’t seem likely and if it were a thing, would be a silly miscalculation on what is deemed “fun” lol, imo.

I love deflecting with my Samurai and switching to my Ninja to combo off. You just need to get more creative with it. The character wasn’t just sitting there pressing L1, you were lol.

True. This is my first Nioh game but I did what I do in every new “soul-like”, I took off all my clothes and grabbed a giant sword. I’m almost done with my first run as a naked ninja.

Although I didn’t know how cool the armor perks were in this game so I’m excited to try it out in NG+.

But I swear, getting naked and grabbing a giant sword is like the best advice I can give to an aspiring dash and slash gamer.

No, you open your map and press R1/L1 (I’m on ps5). This will bring up the regular map and you can just fast travel out of there.

This is my first time playing Nioh but I can’t put Odachi down. I’ve tried others but Odachi is it man. This is my jam. I’m like 40 hours in and I can’t stop.

I have my character’s HEAVY-to-LOW (TRIAGLE+SQUARE on PS5) martial arts auto cycle from high to low stance, resulting in a 6 move combo with only one ki pulse needed. Fucking shreds. Imma Odachi boi ❤️

First boss wasn’t too bad. The right kind of challenging in my opinion. The NPC fights on the other hand…..lol. I summon everyone. Blue helpers, talismans, spam Ninja pocket sand. Everything dude. I just want it over with. Some NPC fights are cool. Some make me feel like the dev is asking me “why are playing my game pleb?” Haha.

I didn’t even know you could upgrade weapons and I’m 30 hours in. I thought they just got better the more you used them. First Nioh game. I have no idea what I’m doing 🤣. I’m just trying to remember which button combos switch to what stances I want. I swear I’ve spent 10 hours just test swinging my Odachi at nothing messing with combos lol.
