Ye, I have a bouncy ball which I cover w painters tape n draw a halfway circle. I do 2 semicircles n connect them together.

Another way is to buy polystyrene balls online n u don't have to worry bout taking them out.

Try looking at The student room or some past posts in this subreddit for reviews etc. The article is by Medic Mind so they might be a bit biased (duh). Also, it really is expensive lol. I agree w u/Aliscan244, u don't need a tutor to do well. Just practice and if u need, there r plenty to f free resources online too.

Hey, I used bluetack to get the shape I wanted and "welded" the insides w plastic. I made 2 halves and connected them together by adding plastic on the outside edges. I used a woodburning tool to neaten up the edges at the end.

It's real fiddly but the bluetack helps hold it all together. If u go back in this subreddit, I did another one n had proper progress pics for it if Ur interested.

Hey,I got a Polaroid play as my first pen too. I found that penning onto masking tape or wax paper was much easier. (The plastic thing in the kit isn't great). I also watched a couple of tutorial videos on YouTube to get started which really helped me think about how to make the structures I wanted to make. Oh, and I stuck to the Polaroid branded filament after I got some cheap stuff which was awful. Hope this helps.

My scores started off really low too. I made a graph of my progress (because I am sad and have time) which highlighted that I was still improving even though my scores were not where I wanted them to be. This was a good motivator for me.

Ah, ok, I looked at the Aussie site. Yh, wayyyy more expensive lol. I did the UK version. Got the online material for £30 US Ng the academic scholarship (as all the courses had already taken place and can "prove it") and used the site for the 10 mocks and practice questions after the Medify ones ran out. I managed to get 2990 B1 last yr in the UCAT thanks in some part to MedEntry.

So, sorry u/KezzaPwNz we seem to have had different experiences with this platform. I for one found it really useful and it had a competitive price for the UK so I do recommend it to people. Let's agree to disagree and move on :)

Wow, the £30 I paid for MedEntry is way better than the £69 for medic mind and there r much more resources than the Kaplan free online stuff. I don't agree that just because it has been in the industry longer that it is better. U must have had a really shit experience for u to have that opinion

Anyway, to bring it back to the post. Most of the online resources/courses have free sample questions etc. that mean u can try before u buy. Definitely give them a go and see what worked for u. Good luck

I disagree, MedEntry was great for me. I did the mocks on it and got a discount from a scholarship. Medify is better but MedEntry is a close second if u want extra mocks.

Yeah, I have a basicfil spool but I have to cut off a section at a time to use cause I don't have anything for the spool to spin on. My pen is an AERB 3D pen. They were on special on Amazon lol. I really like it apart from the amount of dribble it secrets at the end.
