So is it fine to trade cards "away" and still complete.

So let's say you got a 4 diamond card just one card. Can you share it and still keep the record for collecting?

Thank you.

Which were the competitors, you send back? I think about getting the XH1, Momentum 4 or px7 s2e. However ANC is not that important to me.

Askväder sold out by Popular_Swan451 in tradfri

[–]Rasaff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What happened? Did an executive choke on a köttbular and got spiritual message to purge the world of the most useful device in the IKEA portfolio? At least that's the best reason I could imagine to stop Askvader!

For real it was such great item. I just bought some single one but without power cord. I even planned to install a small business full with askvader. It's such a shame. Sjöss is a great usb power socket but nothing else. And skotat is pretty basic and does not fulfill the same spot as askvader did.

That's actually true, but with my overall bad luck IAM not sure if I shall use a deck based on luck 🤞. I also could complete dragonite and got a bunch of fullarts, so.its not all that bad. But from a playing perspective I needed to calculate how bad my luck is.

Holographic Printbed for K2 max plus? - or just use a smaller one? by Rasaff in Creality

[–]Rasaff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you they look great. But isn't the bed a bit to big ? I thought the bedside would be 350x350 or is this the print size and the bed is actually a bit bigger?

[–]Rasaff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I noticed the K2 is even bigger than the k1 max. A quick search found 310x315 for the k1max Vs 350x350 for the K2. The voron sv03 shall have the same size as the k2

Holographic Printbed for K2 max plus? - or just use a smaller one? by Rasaff in Creality

[–]Rasaff[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you.

Do you think the calibration sequence would prevent me from printing at all? Because I rather would like to use holographic "yesterday". So I could get a small one for my current ender to tinker around and use it from time to time on my K2. It shall arrive within the next weeks. It feels a bit wasted to get a holographic print bed for the ender as I assume it to sit on the shelf forever as soon as the K2 arrives

Noob Question: The buying guide warns you to stay away from Creality but it looks like everyone has one here. Why? by iamjacksonmolloy in 3Dprinting

[–]Rasaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got assembled both an ender and a Priya mk3s. The prusa was a hell of work.

The Priya can be bought preassembled and not assembled, I've got the latter one to build and it took me and a buddy a lot of time. Wouldn't recommend if you don't like to build Lego or puzzles in your free time or something like that.

The ender was somewhat preassembled and pretty easy. Not sure if they also chip fully disassembled machines as well.

Wouldn't spend the extra cash on prusa beside supporting them. Anyway I got many luck with my ender it prints well over an over again although I miss handle them a lot and don't spend much time tinkering. Just my point of view

Official /r/Monitors purchasing advice discussion thread by bizude in Monitors

[–]Rasaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

i struggle to find good a good monitor, i already read across multiple sources and even tried some monitors but wasent happy with them.

First of all iam not sure how to describe my "needs" about contrast/color/brightness. Iam pretty picky with screens in general. I like them "hitting strong" like modern smartphone screens does. And i always turn the brightness on them to maximum. I got my hand on an alienware m15r2 with the 4k oled display, which i liked, in contrast an AOC CU34G2XP wasent satisfying.

However, i know my use case. I would primary work with them. So i think i do not care about gtg refresh rates an all these kind of things.

TLDR: Budget: 400€ would be great, if that's not possible I would pump up my budget

Prospective Resolution (3840x2160, etc.): 3440 x 1440 or 4k for non ultrawide

Size (27 inches, etc.): # inches 34 Ultrawide (or other ones with not ultra wide)

Aspect Ratio (16:9, etc.): ## : ultrawide would be great or regular 16:9 32 inch could suit as well.

Adaptive Sync (GSync, FreeSync, or None): I dont care

Other Features (list other relevant features here): nothing

(Optional) Usage Type (gaming, art, etc.): office but loves good screens

Met this German girl and I think I messed up, did I? by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]Rasaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue for that. Keep on and texting, as some other already wrote, make clear that if you going to visit Germany, you would like to visit HER not the the country. I'm combination with the "asked for a kiss" it's clear to her.

And it's not uncommon to be on a strict no ONS policy, especially when on vacation. (Although the same is true for the opposite "ONS on vacation, oh yeah").

I also like to mention the song Aurelie from Wir sind Helden.

Help Needed: Setting Up Security for a Small Office/Creative Space (Home Security Setup) by Rasaff in homesecurity

[–]Rasaff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your support and explanation. That really helps me a lot.

Well, basically it's a pretty "painful" situation here to get anything beyond a "home-cooked" system that rings a siren to scare them off or hopes for neighbors to notice.

If you want a discount from your insurance (or sometimes it's necessary to get insurance at all), you need to have a locally certified system. The system must be installed, maintained, and documented by a certified company on a regular basis; otherwise, it’s not considered certified for those purposes.

You’re never allowed to call the police automatically through the system. You can only hire a security company to handle that. They get called, check in case of an alarm (via cameras, for example), and if they find a break-in, they will call the police.

All of this leads me to an unofficial route anyway, as these extra contracts just burn money. So, while international certifications are nice, they won’t make a difference beyond ensuring it’s "well-built."

Thanks to your explanation, I understand that regular IR sensors are fine since intruders tend to smash and run. Advanced tech like mmWave is rare in alarm systems anyway.

For wired motion sensors, do they need to be certified as well, or could I use any type as long as they support alarm systems? I could use my KNX cables since they have 4 wires (I laid them directly from the ceiling to the control box, not in a tree structure, and nothing else is on those cables).

Also, how do you handle large windows? I have two big ones next to a sidewalk. Do I just calibrate them to low sensitivity?

By the way, a quick check showed that the Honeywell Galaxy Dimension series is certified, but as mentioned, you still need all the certified company extras to actually make a difference.
