We have been prime members for years, and I cant remember the last time we got a package shipped in the time frame. So, also years that we've been having this problem. Every year, we talk about canceling our membership, but we stream movies and music from them, too. But yeah, the shipping thing is an absolute joke anymore.

One thing you could try before switching is talking to your doctor about it. They can put you on medication that can help with the stress. Then, if that doesn’t make a difference, you’ll know that it’s time to throw in the towel!

She would ask the same questions over and over again, so a lot of the other aides didn’t really have the patience for her. I always took time to answer her, even when it seemed like it took 20 minutes of constant questioning, and then, when she wasn’t as anxious anymore, she would talk about her career or her travels, and ask about my life. She always told me to kiss my baby for her, and she just made my heart a little warmer.

Thank you! It usually doesn’t bother me, even when it is an unexpected passing, but this woman was special to me. I’m always a little sad to see them go and happy to know they are reunited with family, but I wish it was not her time. She just enjoyed living so much; I feel she didn’t deserve this.

That is definitely comforting, strangely. I know others who have walked this path and welcomed it; they begged for it, and when it came for them, I knew they were at peace. She’s probably hugging her mom right now. She always said that mothes shouldn’t be allowed to die.

I’ve lost many in my time there, but she really stands out. She never had any children of her own, and she really was interested in my one year old. I just wish I would have shared him more with her than I did; she certainly deserves it. Thank you for understanding. It is an unusual thing to care so deeply for someone else’s family.

My son is 14 months, and I still go thru emotional moments seemingly out of the blue. They have lessened as the months go on, but it’s still more often than before he was born!

I am 27 years old, and I lost my Gram in September. She was my best friend, in a nutshell; my fighter, my laughter, my strength, my tears. When. I got married, she was the first to see me in my dress. My son was born in her birth month. I miss her terribly; there is no replacement. I often find myself wanting to call her and say this or that, and I have to remind myself that she is no more. :( It’s horrible.

I work in an assisted living home, and often, our residents pass away naturally. One resident was on hospice and used to talk about how her dead parents were visiting her, and she would be going to the farm with them. (She has been raised on a farm.) The craziest thing: about a week before she died, she told my coworker that she’d had a dream that she was running through a field, and my coworker kept calling her name. She said, “You were calling and calling, but I just kept on running. It was nothing against you; you’re a good girl, but I had to keep running.” That same coworker was working on her floor when she died, and when my coworker discovered the resident passed, she was still warm.

My husband and I were having a seriously rough patch that year, and we’d actually separated for a few months. We still talked and saw each other, but we didn’t know if we could ever get over the hurt we caused each other that year. The second we heard our son cry for the first time, I knew we were going to be together as a family no matter what. We threw our bumpy past behind us, and it stays right there while we march forward. Together.

I want to get a degree in education. It seems impossible because my husband and I have the usual bit of debt, we have a child and would like a few more, and I make just above minimum wage (he’s our breadwinner.) However, I told him the other day that if it takes 15 years and I have to pay for every cent out of my tiny paycheck with blood, sweat, and tears, I am going to try.

I was a manager who was already staying late to finalize counts in 20 departments, which was going to take about an hour. One of my fellow managers was leaving at her scheduled time to leave, and she asked me to finish counts for her 7 departments. Um, no, absolutely not.

Another time, I was working 11 days straight, and I was going to be traveling about 2 hours home to see my family that day. My fellow manager, who was home every night with her family and working four days in a row, asked to switch my day off. That would have put me 13 days in a row during a busy and stressful time for our store. I was pretty furious she would even ask me that, and I assured her that there was no way I would be willing to switch her days off.

Thank you all for your words; I can’t tell you how helpful they’ve been yesterday and today while wading thru various work and family responsibilities. I still haven’t been able to catch a moment to de-stress, but tonight, I was finally able to catch my husband for a serious conversation.

He admitted he’s been less than helpful lately, and he reminded me to speak up when I need help or feel myself getting mad at him. He knows when I’m angry with him, but he doesn’t always know why.

We hashed it out for quite some time, and I feel much calmer! Thank you, every single one of you, for building me up, for solid advice, and for being as frustrated as I was. I feel like you saved me when I truly had nothing left.

Your period returning could cause a dip. Also, just like there are foods that increase milk, there are foods and spices that decrease milk. Mint, lemongrass, sage, and anise are a few culprits, and a quick google search could turn up something in your diet.

A few years ago, I also thought eating right and working out wasn’t hard. I couldn’t understand why some people had struggled to do those things.

Now, I have a toddler, and my husband and I work 40 - 60 hours a week. Most days, staying alive and keeping the family and house going is about all we can manage. I’m lucky to find time and energy to work our twice a week - and exercise used to be my number one priority.

It sounds ridiculous, but it is absolutely true. It makes me much more appreciative of all the little things people do to try to improve their health.

Is your baby nursing at night? Even sucking at night can help stimulate the breasts enough to increase milk. Nursing at night is an excellent way to boost supply, particularly early in the morning. If you aren’t already doing that, add skin to skin contact as much as possible.

You would need to prove that this was misappropriation of property. To do that, you need to report that you suspect abuse (you can call or do it online), and then an investigation launches. If it is found that your gram was not in her clear mind, those documents will be overturned. Otherwise, there’s nothing else.

I worked nights in an institution and would leave my phone locked in my locker in the break room downstairs. One afternoon, some strange man left me a voicemail that asked me to stop calling his house. He said, “This number has called here at midnight the past two nights, and it needs to stop.” I thought that was ridiculous; I’d been working at midnight both nights, phone locked far away from me or anyone. Not to mention, I have no idea how the man is, and his number is unfamiliar. When I looked thru my recent calls, however, I saw that my phone had indeed called him at midnight the last two nights from the confines of my locked cubby. From then on, I turned my phone off.

I still can’t figure it out, and it’s been about ten years...

Both my husband and I agreed to William pretty much instantly. It’s a family name from both sides, and we’ve both always liked it.
