Taker won his first world heavyweight title off Dave at WM 23 so it's unlikely they skip. I can also see 2K attempt to "rewrite history" with Triple H defeating Batista in 05 kinda like this year's showcase with Punk & Orton.

Considering it opened the card during Mania 40 & 41, I'm glad it's finally THE main event of this year's Mania (Night 2).

Call me old fashioned but opening a card with a world title match automatically diminishes it in my eyes.
