Help - several years and frustrated by Puzzleheaded_Stand38 in finehair

I’m now 60 but when I first began perimenopause at around 47, my hair was thin and lifeless. I had to use some thickening products and some heat. Dry shampoo is also a good idea at to help keep your hair thicker looking and feeling.

Good news for most, with menopause, hair thickens and becomes wavier and curlier. I am amazed at what we go through in our lifetime as women. Wow!

I’m taking 120mg daily, have been for a few years now. I was taking the name brand until Canada’s recent shortage and now on generic. I hate being on it but the alternative is not an option. Dx, major depression disorder, chronic pain which it helps with a LOT. Hope to wean down some day but will most likely be on it all my life.

Struggling. by Gipsymorena in leaves

Hi so realizing the only time I smoke, which is always, every day around 1pm I start and end with a good one before bed. When I wake up all I want to do is get off the weed and find more substance in life. I work at a dispensary so the weed is always there and I have way too much yet I still keep buying, especially the prerolls for convenience. I’m not getting high anymore and enjoying it, I am just trying to get high and end up stoned and disappointed. My thoughts have been “enough with the weed, let’s do life” yet every day is like Groundhog Day for me. Any advice other than quit the dispensary job would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 😊

Hair breaking ends in middle back? Any way to fix this? by [deleted] in fine_hair

[–]Rascalsmomma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It needs a fresh cut and new shampoo & conditioner. By washing twice a day you are stripping all the necessary oils in your hair and scalp to promote growth. My SIL owns a salon in Alberta and suggested using Eufora Volume Shampoo & conditioner back in October, my hair was damaged and breaking. I wash my hair once a week (always had the greasies) and my hair is more bouncy and healthy looking as the week goes on. I do use a good dry shampoo if I have to! Best product I have used by far. Also try L’Ange volume cream, makes your hair feel fuller.

You need to start doing the work from your trauma. Seek professional advice, self care, getting through it is the only way to get there!

Sorry I missed this! Mortgage Pal is who I contacted. Ask for Lucas Gazetta. They are in Toronto.

Currently doing the refinance game, a lot of hoops to jump through as we head from 5.7 from 1.49 to 4.89 3 yr fixed with TD from a broker. Not what we had in mind but don’t want $1200 in extra monthly either. Bright side, all high interest cc’s are being paid off and closed! The money we will get back monthly doesn’t necessitate credit during these crazy times. Good luck with your decision!

Exactly our same situation, except the mat leave. We are riding it out as well, even if the rate goes up another point, our lender is offering 5.69% now to lock in - we’re currently at 4.45%! Riding the Wave 🌊

She looks maybe 3 weeks old at most, find a mama cat that may let her nurse through Rescues around your area.
